Rachel Coates, Miguel Almendras, Fred Lo and Salve Villarosa give us a taste of some of the work they do for the #romanceclass community. They also talk about what it's like to be #romanceclass actors, and how they've seen the group evolve over the last couple of years. This episode contains explicit words, so make sure you have headphones on!

Dr Lauren Rosewarne answers some very tricky questions around cultural taboos and popular culture. Why are so many cultural taboos related to normal functions of the female body? Why is there so little masturbation in romance fiction? How do writers balance storytelling and politics -- in particular, how do romance writers manage feminism in the face of competing allegiances?

Rudi asks why infidelity is such a problematic trope for romance readers, and Lauren talks about how this relates to the disproportionate number of single fathers in Christmas films. We finish off by talking about what Kat considers the final taboo in romance. See if you can guess what that is, and let us know if you agree or disagree!
